Loan limits have  increased in Washtenaw County and the surrounding counties.  This is a result of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, which was passed into law on February 17th, 2009.

These are for Single Family Homes and Condo’s.

· Livingston County $297,500
· Monroe County $297,500
· Wayne County $297,500
· Washtenaw County $345,000 (up from $271,050)

FHA loans require only 3.5% down payment that may be gifted funds. Minimum credit scores of 620 required and they are assumable.

  1. I’ve been involved in taxes for lengthier then I care to acknowledge, both on the individualized side (all my employed lifetime!!) and from a legal standpoint since satisfying the bar and pursuing tax law. I’ve furnished a lot of advice and rectified a lot of wrongs, and I must say that what you’ve put up makes complete sense. Please uphold the good work – the more people know the better they’ll be armed to cope with the tax man, and that’s what it’s all about.

  2. I just wanted to let you know that your post has hit a chord with me. We can’t seem to get out from under our debt. We are now looking to consolidate our credit card debt into a single loan. But we don’t really know where to start.

Thoughts?
